As professional New York wedding photographers, we love being able to capture beautiful moments at amazing wedding venues. When we were asked to photograph Milie and Jefin’s wedding at Lucien’s Manor, we were overjoyed! This premier New Jersey wedding venue is absolutely stunning, with breathtaking grounds and three luxurious ballroom spaces.
In addition to sharing some of our favorite moments from Milie and Jefin’s wedding day, we’ve also included highlights of the venue itself so that future brides and grooms can get a better idea of what this magical place has to offer.
Lucien’s Manor Wedding Venue
Lucien’s manor is one of New Jersey’s most sought-after wedding venues. Located in the historic borough of Berlin, NJ, this family-owned property has been hosting weddings and events since 1898. The recent renovations combined with the romantic European architecture make Lucien’s Manor a truly unique and special place for modern weddings with historic charm.
For couples looking for an outdoor ceremony, the chapel at Lucien’s Manor is a beautiful and intimate setting. The small chapel has an ornate glass-domed ceiling and features a stunning waterfall backdrop with colorful flowers and lush greenery.
The indoor chapel is no less idyllic, with a high glass roof that fills the room with bright natural light. The room is truly a marvel, with spectacular marble flooring and floor-to-ceiling windows that showcase the stunning waterfalls and natural gardens outside.
The Ballrooms
The manor is a magnificent space for hosting wedding receptions, with three grand ballrooms to choose from. La Grande, The Venetian, and the Versailles ballroom each offer a different experience, but all are equally elegant.
The majestic Venetian ballroom features stunning crystal chandeliers, an indoor cascading waterfall, towering marble columns, and a grand staircase for the wedding party and their guests to make an entrance.
The La Grande ballroom has a palatial ambiance with towering 20-foot ceilings, an indoor waterfall, access to the patio and grounds, and modern LEDs set against the gilded moldings and coffered ceilings. There’s plenty of room to dance below the sparkling chandeliers on La Grande’s spacious dancefloor.
The Versailles ballroom feels more intimate with a romantic and warm ambiance. The classic French wall colors, the magnificent marble fireplace, and the soft lighting from the chandeliers create a dreamy and enchanting setting.

Getting Ready Photos
Our bride began her day in the company of her beautiful bridal party as we photographed her getting ready process. While Milie finished getting her hair and makeup done, her bridesmaids were already getting into their elegant emerald green Langa Vonis with gold embroidery.
The bride’s hair and makeup were elegant and natural to complement her classic features, with a soft updo and subtle smokey eyes. She slipped into her gorgeous lace wedding dress with a sweetheart neckline and delicate beading. To complete her look, her mother added some finishing touches with dangling earrings and a sparkling diamond bracelet.
The Ceremony
Their wedding ceremony was held at a nearby church. The aisles were lined with vibrant floral arrangements filled with royal blue roses, rich pinks and purples, and lush greenery to match the bride’s bouquet.
Milie made a grand entrance with her mother and father, arm in arm. All eyes were on the bride as she gracefully made her way down the aisle towards Jefin in her beautiful wedding dress.
After a very moving ceremony filled with tradition and love, the newlyweds were pronounced husband and wife! Our beautiful couple walked back down the aisle together. They had the biggest smiles on their faces, ready to take on the world as a married couple.
Wedding Party Photos at Lucien’s Manor
We made our way back to Lucien’s Manor for some fun wedding party photos. The bridal party posed under the magnificent stone archways surrounded by flowers and greenery.
The bride and groom were absolutely beaming with happiness as they posed for photos with their friends and family. They enjoyed some alone time as we took their portraits around the grounds. We stopped to take in the breathtaking views of the estate and snapped some stunning photos along the way. We absolutely love this sweet moment between the two of them, surrounded by dreamy bubbles.
This fun one of the group toasting our bride and groom before heading inside for the reception is also one of our favorites!
The Reception in La Grande Ballroom
The festivities began as guests were welcomed into the ballroom for the start of the reception. The room was absolutely breathtaking, decorated with the couples’ wedding colors of rich jewel tones.
The chandeliers were aglow, the dance floor was ready and waiting, and the stage was set for a night of fun. The bride and groom made their entrance down the sweeping staircase and were greeted by cheering guests.
Our newlyweds shared their first dance as husband and wife on the dancefloor. It was surrounded by a gentle fog that added an extra touch of romance to the moment.
Milie wowed their guests with a wardrobe change during the reception, emerging in a beautiful Langa Voni. It had intricate gold embroidery and beaded embellishing.
The speeches were touching, the food was delicious, and the dancefloor was packed all night with traditional Indian dances, the bride and groom’s favorite songs, and plenty of love and laughter.
It was an absolutely perfect day from start to finish. We feel so lucky to have captured these memories for Milie and Jefin to cherish for a lifetime. Thank you to our amazing couple for having us along on this journey!
