Jillian and Matt were all smiles on their wedding day; it was clear to all that they were extremely eager to begin their “happily ever after”. From the start of getting ready to the stressful moments leading up to the ceremony, their visible excitement never once faded.

They held a beautiful outdoor ceremony at Wave Hill, a 28-acre public garden and cultural center in the Bronx, NY. Their joy spread as everyone in the wedding party smiled through the vows, and an intimacy was felt throughout the entire audience. The only tears shed were during their touching vows, but even that included laughter and smiles! During the ceremony, the bride and groom often looked around to match their family and friends’ eyes and share their joy.

Straying from the traditional, Jillian wore a stunning Hayley Paige Behati gown with intricate beading detail, and the bridesmaids adorned different silhouettes is complimenting colors. The beading was paired with a reflective pair of glittery heels, which photographed gorgeously in the light!

Their reception was backlit in floralesque purples and pinks, while botanic and gold elements referenced back to the ceremony’s garden ambiance and made for a truly unforgettable event. Their Momofoku cake was topped with sign that said “Best Day Ever,” yet another instance where joy became a design element. There were few moments where family and friends weren’t dancing, and the DJ was both interactive and open to having smiling guests take a turn churning out their favorite tunes. Even without the intimate toasts, hilarious episode of the Hora, and the dedications handed out behind the DJ booth, anyone could see that Jillian and Matt’s friends and family were an integral part of the day, and that their involvement was essential to the newlyweds. It was an honor to photograph their big day, and to witness the joy, and the smiles, they shared. As the evening unfolded, laughter echoed throughout the venue, blending seamlessly with the vibrant energy exuded by the couple’s loved ones. Guests were also captivated by laura and steve’s wedding details, which infused a personal touch that resonated with everyone in attendance.
