The Garrison Wedding – Sam and Bill

Sam & Bill’s Story

Sam and Bill got engaged on Christmas Day 2015, at which point they had already been together 6.5 years, so naturally, Sam wanted the wedding to happen as quickly as possible. With spring fast approaching, they opted for a fall wedding in October. They had their eyes set on The Garrison, a gorgeous venue they had seen numerous times during their days as wedding singers. Unfortunately, when they initially contacted The Garrison, they were sold out for 2016. That being said, as luck would have it, Sam’s mom decided to call again one day after visiting several other venues, and The Garrison had just received a cancellation for October 7th. They knew it was fate and they drove up there that day and were so wowed by the scenery, and the in-house wedding coordinator, Todd Smith, that they put down a deposit on the spot.

One thing that was really important to the couple on their wedding day was to be able to incorporate a performance with their band. Sam and Bill are in a top 40 party wedding band together, so they are well versed in knowing how to get a crowd moving and it only made sense for them to work a short set into the timeline. Luckily for Sam and Bill, the band they hired to play are friends of theirs, so sharing the stage was an easy option. Together with their wedding band, the happy bride and groom were able to dance the night away and truly have a day that will live on in their hearts forever.
