DUMBO location 1
Washington Street and the surrounding blocks
The Washington Street view of the Manhattan Bridge is immediate and recognizable, but the useful window is brief. The street carries delivery vehicles, residents, visitors, and active traffic. We make the landmark frame quickly, then use the surrounding brick, loading doors, cobblestone, and side streets to keep the session from looking like a line for one photograph.
Sunrise is the cleanest option. Later sessions should assume that people and vehicles will remain in the environment rather than waiting for a completely empty street.

Main Street and the Manhattan Bridge
Main Street creates a different bridge photograph from Washington Street. The structure is closer and more graphic, and the park paths add trees, stone, and movement beneath the bridge. It is a natural transition between the neighborhood and Pebble Beach.

Pebble Beach and Empire Fulton Ferry
Pebble Beach provides a low view across the East River toward Lower Manhattan, with both bridges shaping the wider environment. Empire Fulton Ferry adds lawn, trees, boardwalk, and the Brooklyn Bridge. Together they create a complete waterfront chapter without leaving the park.

Transportation and walking
