When it comes to New York City weddings, Central Park is one of the most romantic and iconic locations. Although the park is a big place – 843 acres to be exact – its Conservatory Garden, lush with flowers, shrubs, and trees, is an intimate place to exchange vows. It was truly the perfect spot for Justine and Tarek to hold their early September wedding ceremony. After all, it was on their third anniversary of dating that Tarek decorated their home with flowers and candles and proposed to Justine in a very intimate setting. So, they had a perfect Central Park and Hardings wedding both!
“Brides should have fun and really go for it when it comes to their dress,” Justine once said. As she walked down the aisle in a gorgeous blush-colored Elizabeth Dye gown with long lace sleeves, scallop detailing around the neck and a layered tulle skirt, her visions of a picture-perfect day were coming true. With simple and elegant hair and makeup, she made sure to add a little bit of sparkle with a star circlet headpiece. Her bridesmaids wore dresses that they picked out themselves. This way, they could be completely comfortable. Justine wouldn’t have it any other way.
The couple exchanged vows in front of their 90 guests in an elegant ceremony. Afterwards, the reception was held at Harding’s NYC – a venue that celebrates classic America. In love with the vintage look of the restaurant, Justine and Tarek also wanted the flowers and decor to complement it. They had a flower wall created with overflowing vines and roses, as well as centerpieces with green, red and pink flowers. Candles and lace tablecloths added a sweet, romantic touch.
Two very special signature cocktails were served: The Brooklyn and The Beirut (proudly named after the cities where Justine and Tarek grew up). After feasting on an incredibly delicious dinner, the couple enjoyed their first dance to Al Green’s “Let’s Stay Together”, which is one of their favorite love songs. The venue then turned into one fantastic dance party, with DJ Matty playing the perfect mix of oldies, hip-hop, pop and Arabic music.
Justine and Tarek’s wedding day was a wonderful example of how detail-filled intimate weddings can make some of the biggest, most unforgettable impressions!
