Platinum Forbes Global Properties introduced its next chapter in a room made for entrances. Inside The Jazz Club at Aman New York, a polished brokerage launch unfolded through cocktails, conversation, speeches, and a feathered revue that changed the energy in seconds.
The occasion celebrated Platinum Forbes Global Properties joining the Forbes Global Properties network as its exclusive New York City representative. It was a business milestone, but the evening never felt like a press conference. Guests moved easily between the bar, stage, and intimate corners of the club before the live performance pulled every eye forward.
The gallery needs the atmosphere before guests arrive, the people behind the announcement, clean brand documentation, natural connection, and the performance that gave the evening its pulse. Each photograph should explain a different part of the experience.
The Jazz Club at Aman New York as an event space
The Jazz Club at Aman New York brings the scale of a private club together with the intimacy of a performance room. Warm amber light, sculptural columns, deep seating, and a compact stage give the space a finished point of view before production adds a thing.
That atmosphere also creates the central photographic challenge. Dark rooms can lose their character when they are overlit. We preserved the club’s glow in the establishing photographs, then shifted to precise flash as guests arrived. The result keeps skin tones clean while the red, copper, and violet light remains part of the story.

A New York launch with global reach
Platinum built its name in New York over more than two decades. Its new membership in Forbes Global Properties connects that local practice to an international network while keeping the brokerage independently led.
The event coverage had to hold both ideas at once. One clean step-and-repeat photograph established the new co-brand. Speeches and toasts documented the announcement itself. Everything around them showed what the launch felt like for the people in the room.

A live revue changed the room
The transition from announcement to celebration happened fast. Three performers arrived in crystal costumes and sweeping white headdresses, using the club’s small stage and the floor directly in front of it. The performance was close enough for guests to feel involved, not simply seated at a distance.
We photographed the first reveal wide, moved closer for choreography and expression, then turned back toward the audience. Those response photographs matter. They prove that the performance connected.

Photographing connection without stopping it
Most of the evening happened between the scheduled moments. Introductions became longer conversations. Colleagues pulled one another into photographs. Phones came out when the room became playful. Our approach stayed attentive but light, making clean photographs without flattening the social rhythm.

Aman New York event photography FAQ
What should an Aman New York event photography timeline include?
Reserve time for the untouched room, cocktails and culinary details, leadership portraits, guest arrivals, brand documentation, speeches, live entertainment, and candid reception coverage.
How do you photograph a dark venue without losing its atmosphere?
We balance selective flash with the venue’s existing light. People stay sharp and flattering while the color, depth, and glow that define the room remain visible.
How many step-and-repeat photographs belong in an event story?
Usually one excellent frame is enough for the public story. The full client gallery can document every arrival, but the blog should use the backdrop to establish the brand and then move on.
Can the same team cover branding, speakers, food, and live entertainment?
Yes. We build the coverage around the event sequence, protect the important brand assets, and stay ready for transitions that happen only once.
