Guastavino’s Fairytale Wedding – Alex and Zach: Part I

We love what we do, and it transpires in every single second of our lives as professionals in the wedding industry. We love our jobs, but even more than anything, we love being a real, integral party of so many love stories – to us, this feels like working in modern, real-life Guastavino’s fairytale wedding. And that is more priceless than any other part of our job.

In our last blog post, we presented Alex and Zach’s absolutely stunning wedding – and we wanted to go even deeper into their photo shoot and how the wedding unveiled itself. To be honest, this was a truly marvelous event – and we’re more than certain both the bride and the groom will remember it for the years to come.

What are other parts of Alex and Zach’s wedding that impressed us? Read on and inspire yourself.

  • The entire event was flooded with simple, timeless elegance – the kind that will simply look gorgeous 5, 10, and even 90 years from now. The decor, the bride’s dress, the way the couple managed to bring together their different cultural heritages – every single minute of this wedding was magical.
  • The wedding itself was decorated in white, silver, and green accents. The silver parts looked awe-inspiring with the location of the wedding, while the green and white flower arrangements added liveliness and energy to the entire ambiance.
  • The wedding cake was in line with the concept of the entire event – a simple, tiered cake covered in white, with fine black accents. And although the wedding was clearly elegant and stylish, the groom and the bride managed to incorporate their own personalities into the mix as well, offering sweet treats packed in black-and-white bags as wedding favors.
  • This unforgettable day was filled with truly touching moments too. From the wedding ceremony (officiated by a rabbi and a Catholic priest) to the special dances, the violin that enchanted guests during the cocktail, and the band that lifted up their spirits to dance and have fun, every single detail of this wedding was extremely well-chosen and meaningful.

Don’t forget – trends come and go, so you want your wedding to be just as “modern” today as it will be five decades from now! Plan an event that feels truly yours, regardless of what trends may dictate!
