Gramercy Park Hotel wedding – Susan and Paul: Getting Ready and our new branding

Susan and Paul’s wedding was and still is a very special one for us. They are an amazing, unbelievably in love couple and they spread it everywhere they appear, you can see it on their engagement session photos here – https://julianribinikweddings. com/dumbo-engagement-session-susan-and-paul/ and you will see it in all four posts about their wedding. It’s very unusual for us, we simply could not trim our selection to one post, so it will be a very extensive publication 🙂 Everything is awesome about those two and being around them was like being a part of the family, and for that we are infinitely thankful!

The Venue

If it’s not enough, the wedding was in the Gramercy Park Hotel, which is our favorite place ever. Every year we stay at the Gramercy for our anniversary, because there’s no other place like this one. The atmosphere, the design, the impeccable service and best team ever. And those drinks at the Rose and Jade bars which are one of the best if not THE best in New York. Oh, and the smell. The amazing aroma which captures you when you step into the hotel. It is in fact smell of Cade 26 – the aromatic candle which was designed exclusively by Le Labo ( http://lelabofragrances. com )for the Gramercy Park Hotel. They also have a fragrance, which is very close to the Cade 26’s smell – Santal 33, and it is (surprise) our favorite fragrance. If you’re looking to celebrate your wedding in the Gramercy – you can be sure your experience will be out of this world and their events manager, amazing Kay, will make your dream come true!

Getting Ready

The morning began with an air of excitement and anticipation as Susan and Paul: Getting Ready and our new branding prepared separately for the day ahead. The bridal suite was a scene of beautiful chaos, with the hair and makeup team working their magic while bridesmaids shared stories and laughter. These getting ready moments are always some of our favorites to photograph, as they capture the raw, unfiltered emotions of the day before the ceremony begins. The bride’s transformation was stunning, each element coming together to create a vision of elegance. Meanwhile, the groom and groomsmen shared their own bonding moments, adjusting ties and cufflinks while reminiscing about years of friendship. The first time the bride saw herself fully dressed was an emotional moment that we were honored to capture, a quiet pause before the whirlwind of the day truly began.

The Ceremony

As the ceremony began, a hush fell over the gathered guests, and all eyes turned to witness this beautiful union. The carefully chosen readings resonated deeply with everyone present, speaking to the universal themes of love, commitment, and partnership. Susan and Paul: Getting Ready and our new branding’s vows were a beautiful testament to their relationship, filled with personal promises that drew both laughter and tears from their loved ones. Every detail of the ceremony space had been considered, from the elegant floral arrangements framing the altar to the soft lighting that bathed the scene in a warm, romantic glow. The ring exchange was a poignant moment, symbolizing the eternal bond being forged. As they were pronounced married, the joy that erupted from the crowd was absolutely palpable.

The Reception

When the reception doors opened, guests were welcomed into a stunning space that had been transformed into a celebration wonderland. Every table was a work of art, with centerpieces that added elegance and warmth to the room. The evening unfolded beautifully, beginning with a cocktail hour that allowed guests to mingle and enjoy the anticipation of the celebration to come. Heartfelt speeches from family and friends painted a vivid picture of Susan and Paul: Getting Ready and our new branding’s journey, drawing both laughter and tears throughout the room. The dance floor came alive as the evening progressed, with the DJ reading the crowd perfectly and keeping the energy high until the very last song. The send-off was a magical conclusion to an extraordinary evening, leaving everyone with memories they will treasure forever.
