Oh, how we love New York City. When you stare up at its gorgeous skyline, it’s easy to become totally mesmerized. Speaking of being mesmerized…  that’s just how we felt as we photographed Caitlin and Andy’s Gramercy Park Hotel wedding! When the happy couple planned their big day, they set out to capture the dramatic, majestic vibe of this amazing city. And we have to say: They succeeded!

  1. We’ll be honest. Caitlin and Andy’s wedding is one of those events that guests will be talking about for years to come. Awe-inspiring yet intimate, Gramercy Park Hotel is pure decadence and comfort rolled into one. The hotel’s luxurious décor features a fabulous art collection (with works by artists such as Andy Warhol and Jean-Michel Basquiat) amid over-the-top, bold colors. We especially love the hotel’s top floor, which boasts a dramatic ceiling fixture consisting of 4,400 light bulbs! Yes, Gramercy Park Hotel was definitely the perfect location for a wedding that was all about style, character and fun.
  2. The bride wore a gorgeous scoop neck dress with an incredibly romantic and elegant cathedral-style veil. We loved the look of pure joy on Andy’s face as he watched her walk down the aisle toward him.
  3. Flavorful food and drinks, fantastic music and lots of laughter made the reception completely unforgettable. Caitlin and Andy wanted their guests to enjoy every minute of their special day, and we know that everyone certainly did!

Whether nestled in a quiet garden oasis or surrounded by the pulse of Midtown, a New York City wedding is always a truly extraordinary experience that combines urban sophistication with timeless romance.

Getting Ready

The morning began with an air of excitement and anticipation as Caitlin and Andy prepared separately for the day ahead. The bridal suite was a scene of beautiful chaos, with the hair and makeup team working their magic while bridesmaids shared stories and laughter. These getting ready moments are always some of our favorites to photograph, as they capture the raw, unfiltered emotions of the day before the ceremony begins. The bride’s transformation was stunning, each element coming together to create a vision of elegance. Meanwhile, the groom and groomsmen shared their own bonding moments, adjusting ties and cufflinks while reminiscing about years of friendship. The first time the bride saw herself fully dressed was an emotional moment that we were honored to capture, a quiet pause before the whirlwind of the day truly began.

The Ceremony
