You can’t go wrong with any of these venues, but if you aren’t sure which magnificent location to choose, here’s a brief rundown of what makes each one unique:
Cipriani Wall Street has the perfect aura of sophistication and class. The building features magnificent Greek Revival architecture, soaring 70-foot ceilings, and a gorgeous Wedgewood dome. This NYC landmark has been home to the New York Stock Exchange, United States Customers House, National City Bank, and New York Merchants’ Exchange.
Cipriani 42nd Street is a New York institution with a long history of hosting celebrities and power players from around the world. Located in the famous Bowery Building, the venue is one of the most stunning spaces in Manhattan with its towering ceilings, beautiful inlaid floors, and glittering chandeliers — so a Cipriani 42nd Street wedding is sure to impress!
Cipriani 25 Broadway in Lower Manhattan is a sophisticated venue offering a luxurious wedding day experience. Its Great Hall was designed by Benjamin Wistar Morris in 1921, and today its Italian Renaissance-inspired architecture makes a glamorous backdrop for weddings. This venue boasts 65-foot ceilings, gorgeous chandeliers, and famous murals painted by Ezra Winter.
Cipriani South Street, the newest of the Cipriani wedding venues, is in the Battery Maritime Building — a New York City landmark since 1976. Its interiors were restored by the design house of Thierry Despont, whose famed projects include the Statue of Liberty and the Ritz Hotel in Paris. This venue has four breathtaking wedding and pre-wedding spaces and a long skylight that creates a jaw-dropping space to take photos.
Cipriani was founded by Giuseppe Cipriani, who established his first bar/restaurant, Harry’s Bar, in Venice in 1931. Over the years it became a celebrity hot spot, frequented by the likes of Humphrey Bogart, Katherine Hepburn, and Ernest Hemingway.
Harry’s Bar was the first to serve sparkling Prosecco and peach purée drinks known as Bellinis, which were invented by Cipriani himself! It was also the first bar to introduce the concept of a restaurant menu.
Today, the company’s business extends far beyond its namesake restaurant to hotels and catering venues across the globe.
