Oh, how we love summer! The sun is out, the flowers are lush, and the weather is heating up. That’s not all that’s heating up, though. The romance is too… which you can clearly see from our recent engagement photo shoot. This time, we had the incredible opportunity to work with Kelly and Josh for their Central Park engagement session.
Hands down, Central Park is one of the dreamiest spots in the Big Apple to take engagement photos. Although we love visiting when it’s blanketed in jewel-toned foliage or when it’s a winter wonderland, nothing compares to the magic of the park in the summer months. As we wandered through some of its most picturesque spots to shoot our NYC couple, we couldn’t help but be in awe of the scenery. We made sure to stop at Bow Bridge, which is widely known as Central Park’s most romantic place. This is due to the fact that so many proposals take place here! Kelly and Josh embraced while they posed for photos on the bridge, and later they shared a tender moment as they gazed out at it from across the lake.
Of course, no trip to Central Park would be complete without visiting the heart of the park: the Bethesda Terrace Arcade. We couldn’t help but smile as the happy couple kissed and embraced under the ornate archways and intricately tiled ceiling. We also captured just how in love they are as they gazed into each other’s eyes in front of Bethesda Fountain. Although there’s so many classic and iconic spots to take photos in Central Park, some of the sweetest moments occurred as Kelly and Josh walked along the tree-lined pathways holding hands.
As we made our way through the Upper West Side stopping to take photos with Manhattan as a backdrop, we documented this amazing couple’s love. Congratulations on your engagement, Kelly and Josh! We can’t wait to help make your Big Day a dream come true.
