To put it simply – Phoebe & Mike’s The Foundry wedding in Long Island City, NY was an absolute dream! As you all know, the pandemic certainly hasn’t made wedding planning easy, but The Foundry boasts a multitude of indoor and outdoor spaces for couples to celebrate safely with family and friends. This makes it the perfect intimate wedding venue during these challenging times. Of course, the jaw-dropping views of the city and the Queensboro Bridge can’t be overlooked, either!
Below you’ll find some of our favorite moments from one of our favorite couple’s big days. If you’re busy wedding planning right now, perhaps they’ll inspire your day too!
- As wedding photographers, we love capturing getting-ready moments. They’re filled with so much excitement and anticipation, setting the tone for the whole day ahead. You could see all of these emotions in Phoebe’s face as she prepped with her friends and family. As she revealed her bridal look to all of us, “breathtaking” was the only word that came to mind! Her sheath gown with plunging neckline was a stunning look for a modern bride. Meanwhile, Mike looked dapper in a dark tux with smart bowtie.
- As you can see from the pictures below, the smile on Mike’s face as Phoebe walked down the aisle toward him was one of pure joy. You’ll also see that these two couldn’t take their eyes off each other throughout the ceremony, formal photos and the reception!
- One of our favorite spots at The Foundry is the courtyard. We love its brick walls covered by lush ivy, which makes an amazing backdrop in photos. Phoebe and Mike chose this serene spot for their reception. We loved how their guests cheered as the couple entered wearing fashionable bride and groom face masks.
- As the day went on, guests enjoyed a fabulous happy hour and dinner. They danced away under the perfect sky – so happy to be able to share this beautiful day with an incredible couple!
Phoebe and Mike, thank you for allowing us to be part of your celebration. We wish you all of the love and happiness in the world!
