Sleepy Hollow Country Club Wedding – Natalie & Billy

What do you get when you combine a dreamy location, picturesque views, a sacred ceremony and a beautiful love story? The answer: An unforgettable wedding day!

Natalie and Billy’s love story began when they first met in Fire Island on July 4^th weekend in 2013. Although this was their first meeting, a series of missed calls and missed opportunities kept them apart. They finally reconnected in New York City in the early winter of 2014. They had their first official date at The Wren in the East Village and immediately knew they shared a special connection. After living together for a year in lower Chelsea, Billy surprised Natalie with an intimate proposal in a private room at one of their favorite restaurants, Marta.

When it came to wedding planning, Natalie knew exactly what she wanted – rustic elegance – and instantly found that at Sleepy Hollow Country Club. It came complete with stunning, sprawling views of the Hudson River, the historic early 1900’s Vanderbilt mansion, and an elegant tent. All of this only 30 miles outside Manhattan; they immediately knew that this was their dream venue come true. They always envisioned an outdoor summer wedding, so when August 4th was available, they were sold. It was even more special that it was the groom’s deceased grandfather’s birthday.
Natalie looked absolutely stunning in a Rita Vinieris gown & Monique Lhuillier detachable over-skirt. Billy couldn’t take his eyes off her the entire day! Speaking of the groom, he looked so sharp in his custom tailored suit from Zohreh Uomo.
After a gorgeous ceremony and cocktail hour on the lawn at sunset, guests proceeded to the tent for dinner and dancing followed by fire pits and late night snacks on the lawn. Their fairy tale wedding was followed by a 2 week honeymoon traveling around Italy and Greece.

Once in a while, in the middle of an ordinary life, love gives us a fairy tale. Natalie and Billy, we thank you for allowing us to be a part of your incredible day. May the love and happiness you felt on this day shine through the years!
