Some weddings feel like they were plucked straight from a storybook. Natalie and Billy’s Sleepy Hollow Country Club wedding was one of those rare celebrations where everything — the setting, the love story, the details — came together in a way that felt almost impossibly perfect.
Natalie and Billy first crossed paths on Fire Island over Fourth of July weekend in 2013. But as fate would have it, a series of missed calls and near-misses kept them apart. It wasn’t until the early winter of 2014 that they finally reconnected in New York City. Their first official date was at The Wren in the East Village, and from that evening on, both knew they had found something special. After living together for a year in lower Chelsea, Billy planned an intimate proposal in a private room at Marta, one of their favorite restaurants. She said yes, and the planning began.
Natalie had a clear vision for her wedding day: rustic elegance. The moment she and Billy visited Sleepy Hollow Country Club, they knew their search was over. Situated just 30 miles outside Manhattan along the Hudson River, the venue offers sprawling waterfront views, the historic early-1900s Vanderbilt mansion, and a beautifully appointed tent — all with the feeling of a world far removed from the city. When they learned that August 4th was available, it felt like a sign: it was the birthday of Billy’s late grandfather, adding a deeply personal layer of meaning to the date.
Natalie was absolutely stunning in a Rita Vinieris gown with a Monique Lhuillier detachable over-skirt — a look that perfectly balanced classic bridal beauty with modern sophistication. Her Tabitha Simmons shoes and Jennifer Behr earrings completed the picture. Billy looked every bit the gentleman in a custom-tailored suit from Zohreh Uomo with Salvatore Ferragamo shoes. All day long, the two of them couldn’t take their eyes off each other.
The outdoor ceremony took place on the manicured grounds at sunset, with the Hudson River stretching out behind them and golden light filtering through the trees. Following cocktail hour on the lawn, guests moved into the tent for dinner and dancing. The Marcus Reid Band from Hank Lane kept the energy high all night. As the evening wound down, guests gathered around fire pits on the lawn for late-night snacks under the stars.

After their fairy tale wedding, Natalie and Billy jetted off for a two-week honeymoon traveling through Italy and Greece. As we like to say: once in a while, in the middle of an ordinary life, love gives us a fairy tale.
Natalie and Billy, thank you for letting us be part of your extraordinary day. May the love and happiness you felt on that August evening shine through all the years ahead.
