Expectations and communications

I have a problem. Huge one.

Every time someone writes me an email with a inquiry, question, anything, I respond right away. If I am on the road or working, then I’ll respond at the first available time-slot, and always within 24 hours, because I believe my clients deserve VIP treatment, as they were my family.

For some strange reason people just do not respond back in the same manner, sometimes it takes weeks to answer, although their question was urgent.

I find it confusing, and I cannot get used to this for years now. I guess I just need to lower my expectations 🙂

What do you think on this matter?

    Julian, I am on the same page with you on this subject! I think it has nothing to do with people’s response time but rather with the fact that you and I only deal with a certain aspect of the wedding whereas brides have to take care of many tasks. Thus, their time is much more limited than ours so we just need to do our best to respond to their inquiry and they will let us know what’s needed.ReplyCancel
